An hour that your body keeps score of

Finnish researchers tracked thousands of sauna users for two decades. The frequent ones had lower rates of heart disease, stroke and early death.1 Cold water cuts the soreness that follows a hard session.2 Recovery is what lets you train hard again tomorrow.

What you get out of it

An hour of heat and cold, done properly, two or three times a week. This is what it buys you.

Cold plunge

4 days

Less sore after training

Train hard on Monday and get down the stairs properly on Tuesday. Cold water after a session cuts muscle soreness for up to four days.

Athlete after training

Deeper

Better, deeper sleep

Deeper, more restful sleep and fewer wake-ups through the night. Heat and cold both push you toward the kind of sleep that actually repairs you.

Sauna interior

50%

A healthier heart

Regular sauna use is linked to a 50% lower risk of fatal cardiovascular disease, and a 63% lower risk of sudden cardiac death. Four to seven sessions a week.

Sauna

61%

Lower stroke risk

People using a sauna four to seven times a week show a 61% lower rate of stroke than those going once a week.

Sauna bench

40%

More years to train for

Across twenty years of data, frequent sauna users had a 40% lower rate of death from any cause. The same pattern holds for men and women.

Cold water immersion

Sharp

Clear-headed for the rest of the day

Cold water sets off a surge of noradrenaline and dopamine. You walk out alert, clear-headed and in a better mood than you walked in.

Cold plunge pool

HRV

Better recovery scores

Cold immersion pulls your nervous system back toward recovery faster after hard training. If you wear a watch or a strap, it's the morning after you'll see it.

Time it right

Lifting for size? Leave a gap.

Plunging in the fifteen minutes after a heavy lifting session can blunt the muscle-building signal. Leave four to six hours, or use it on a rest day, and you get the recovery without touching your gains.

Endurance training isn't affected at all. Ran, cycled, rowed, played? Get in whenever you like.

You book the room. Not a seat in it.

Every session is private — nobody gets added to your slot. Come alone, or bring up to three others and split it however you like. Limitless Plus members get 10% off either way.

Prices are per session for the whole room, never per person. The Limitless Plus discount requires an active Plus membership at Limitless Fitness Stirling or Cumbernauld.

Built to be used every week

Not a spa day. A room you walk into after training, use properly, and get on with your evening.

The REVIVE recovery suite

Held at temperature

The plunge is filtered and chilled continuously, so the first slot of the day and the last are the same session.

Booked by the slot

Every session has a time on it. No queuing behind someone's second round.

Open around training

First slot 7am, last slot 8pm — so recovery fits around the session rather than replacing it.

Book the room. Bring who you like.

£40 on your own, £60 for two to four — private, start to finish, and Limitless Plus members get 10% off. Pick a time below.
